Labor Day Hours, Vaccine and Testing Available at Select Locations this Weekend

Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale County Health Departments’ health centers and district office are closed Friday, September 3 through Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day. Health Department COVID-19 vaccine and testing will still be available at the following locations:

COVID-19 Vaccine

Friday, September 3

• Newton County Health Department will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for walk-in COVID-19 vaccines only. (No normal Health Department services will be provided.)
• Gwinnett Place Mall – former Sears will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (closed 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.) for appointment and walk-in COVID-19 vaccines.
• Gwinnett Technical College will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. for walk-in COVID-19 vaccines.

 

Saturday, September 4

• Gwinnett Place Mall – former Sears will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (closed from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.) for appointment and walk-in COVID-19 vaccines.

 

Monday, September 6

• Gwinnett Place Mall – former Sears will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (closed from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.) for appointment and walk-in COVID-19 vaccines.

• Springfield Baptist Church will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Saturday, September 4

• Gwinnett Place Mall – former Sears will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Springfield Baptist Church will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Monday, September 6

• Gwinnett Place Mall – former Sears will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
