WIC Prenatal Breastfeeding Classes

Our WIC Breastfeeding classes are a great place for you to learn about breastfeeding while you are pregnant. In a breastfeeding class you will learn about the benefits of breastfeeding, learn how to breastfeed and how to juggle breastfeeding and work or school. Classes are taught by each clinic’s nutrition and lactation staff. Our nutrition staff provides information on a healthy and balanced diet while pregnant and breastfeeding. Taking a breastfeeding class before baby is born can help you feel more confident about breastfeeding and can help you avoid common breastfeeding challenges.
