PrEP for HIV Prevention
Get PrEPed to reduce your risk of acquiring HIV.
Just one pill a day.
Pre-exposure prophylaxis, called PrEP, is a daily pill that lowers your chances of acquiring HIV when used as prescribed.
The Health Department offers two types of PrEP, Truvada and Descovy.
PrEP services are available at Lawrenceville, Norcross, and Rockdale Health Centers and require an appointment.
Protect yourself from HIV. Give us a call!
If you are interested in starting PrEP or would like additional information before deciding if PrEP is right for you, contact our PrEP coordinator at 770-339-4283 Ext.420 or our HIV program manager at 678-442-6897 Ext. 135.
